Class Rules:
Stock Slash Dirt Modified (MDM)
- Must use stock Traxxas Slash 2wd chassis and components, unmodified, unless otherwise specified. No modifying, replacing, or removing any components unless otherwise specified.
- All suspension components must be installed in the proper position and orientation on the car from the factory (EXAMPLE: Left caster block on the left; right block on the right, suspension arms right side up, etc.). Any color Traxxas Slash aluminum steering bell cranks (#3743), caster blocks (#3632), steering blocks (#3636), camber links, and rear axle carriers (#3652) are allowed.
- RPM rear carriers (#80382), front steering blocks (#80372), caster blocks (#80712), and front (#80952, #80953, #80955) & rear (#81002, #81003, #81005) bumpers will be allowed. The “hoop” and “ears” on the front bumper may be cut off, however, the main area of the bumper must remain intact (unless you are running a body manufactures front body mount/bumper.
- Transmitter/Receiver and servo may be replaced. (Servo saver will also not be a tech item) Traxxas Aluminum Steering Bellcranks (3743A and 3743X)
- Locking or modifying the differential in any way will not be allowed. The differential must have normal diff action when rotating one rear tire against the normal compression (resistance) of the motor. No ball diffs.
- NO SWAY BARS
- Any additional weight must be added within the main chassis plate area. Adding weight to nerf bars, bumpers, headers, suspension arms, or any component not within the main chassis area will not be allowed. The ESC, transponder, and receiver can be mounted anywhere in the main chassis plate area only. Minimum Ride Height: .750″ (including body).
- Motor, ESC, & Battery: Must use the stock XL-5 ESC(unaltered) & unaltered Titan 12t 550 brushed motor. Tuning, tweaking, or modifying the motor in any way will not be allowed. The stock (bullet) connectors from the motor to the ESC must also be used. Soldering the connectors together is not allowed.
- No cooling fans on the motor or esc.
- Battery – ANY Roar approved 7.4v LIPO. Must be hard case lipo’s! 4.22 max volts per cell
- Battery must be mounted in the stock center tray location, but can be moved forward or back as long as it stays within the stock boundaries of the battery tray. Any plug may be used for the battery to ESC connection. However, direct soldering to the battery will not be allowed.
- Tires, Wheels, & Inserts: Any 2.2/3.0 short course wheel will be allowed that is made for the 2wd slash (19mm offset Front and 21.5mm offset rear). Each wheel must have a minimum of two vent holes. Front wheels must be on the front and rear wheels on the rears. Must use stock Traxxas Slash tires. Choice of: Slash Spec, Kumho Venture, and BF Goodrich treads. S1 compound tires for any of the treads will not be allowed. Altering the inside of the tire in any way will not be allowed. However, gluing or taping the outside of the tire to help prevent traction rolling will be allowed. Tires cannot be ground down to slicks. Tires must have a minimum tread depth of .065″ for all three tread styles. One foam insert per tire only.
- Shocks & Springs: Any Slash tuning spring by Traxxas will be allowed. Springs may not be cut or altered from factory in any way. Aluminum shock caps (any color) are allowed. The shock oil or shock travel/length will not be mandated. 2-stage pistons or any modification to the shock piston to tune the compression and rebound separately will not be allowed.
- OPEN GEARING
- If it doesn’t state that you can use or do it to the car it’s NOT ALLOWED!
13.5 SPRINT(winged and non-winged) 7X7 or 6×6 WING (no wing for non-wing)

- Body: Sipple speed shop, HRC, bad boys ,Barts modified body or equivilant windows may be cut out but sails must remain intact! “no cutting out rear sail” Two piece rear sail is ok
- Roof and sides must meet evenly ” no roof rails, wickers, ecc.”
- 1.5″ max rear spoiler “if you have spoiler end caps must be even with spoiler height”
- No straight sail like a sidedam.

Rear spoiler can only be as wide as the body at the rear quarter panels.
Rear spoiler 3″ max from deck.
The end caps must be a triangle shape.(see template) You may have one fin on the spoiler and two side caps.
The third fin must also be the same dimension as side cap.
It can be located anywhere on the spoiler between the two side caps. The fin must be in line with the side caps on the front leading edge. - Wheel & Tire Specs:

EURO-TRUCK – This is a pure box stock class open to any skill level hobbyist.
- Legal kits: Item 58632 Team Hahn Racing MAN TGS (TT-01 type E chassis), 58642 Team Reinert Racing MAN TGS (TT-01 type E chassis) & 58661 Buggyra Racing Fat Fox (TT-01 type E chassis)
- The kit must be built EXACTLY per the instruction manual.
- The ONLY Hop-Op Options permitted are Ball Bearings (ANY BRAND) and a Tamiya servo saver.
- Must use the stock pinion and spur gear.
- Must use the kit supplied Tamiya TBLE-02S ESC or Arrma esc ARA390288
- Must use the kit supplied motor (item 54358 RS-540 Torque-Tuned Motor)
- Battery connector on ESC may be changed to any plug type.

M-Chassis(rwd/fwd)
- Legal chassis platforms: M05, M05 V2, M06, and M-07 platforms
- Minimum weight: All M-chassis cars must meet a minimum weight of 1300 grams.
- Legal race bodies: Any Tamiya M-chassis body.
- Spec tire rules: You must use kit tires
- Gearing: 24 tooth maximum pinion size for the M-07/08. 20T for all other chassis variants.

- No aluminum shocks. No carbon shock towers.
- Shocks: The only Hop-Up shock allowed is the Tamiya CVA plastic shock units (item 50746)
- Springs: You may only use the kit supplied 5 coil chrome spring, 7 coil chrome spring in the CVA shock unit set, and item 53440 RC On-Road Spring Set (Hard). These springs are blue, red, yellow, and white in the package for easy identification.
- Spur Gears permitted: Tamiya TT-02 stock and TT-02 Tamiya speed-tuned spur gears are allowed. TT-02: Stock 70T, Speed-Tuned 68T and 64T/LI>
- Pinion Gears permitted: Pinion gear ratio options shown in the TT-02 kit and the speed-tuned gear set motor mount chart instruction manuals may be used. Finding ways to exceed the maximum gear ratio shown in the manual charts is not allowed. Maximum gear ratio from the speed tuned gear set: 5.74:1 (64T Spur-29T Pinion)
- Spec tire rules: Tamiya Type B3 (Warm weather), Type A (Cold weather), and Type C (Carpet Surface) compound tires only. You may use ANY Tamiya 24mm wheels and ANY tire insert is allowed. /LI>

- Recommended Hop-Up-Options: Many Hop-Up Option may be used, but you only really need to consider the following 7: • Ball Bearing set: (item 54476) • Speed Tuned Gear Set: (item 54500) highly recommended • Aluminum motor mount: (item 54558) highly recommended • Plastic Oil-filled dampers: (items 50746-highly recommended, 53619, 50519). • Aluminum Prop-shaft: (item 54501) • TT02 Alum Propeller Joint (item 54502) • Steering Turn Buckle set: (item 53662). • Toe-In Rear-Uprights (TT-02 item 54549/2.5 degree & 54733/3.0 degree) • RC On-Road Spring Set (Hard) (item 53440)
- Must use kit tires
Legends (RJ speed/bolink)
- The first rule is that if the rules do not specifically state that you can do something, YOU CANNOT DO IT.
- Absolutely no changes to the configuration of the chassis or cutting on the chassis parts. No replacement parts of graphite or other higher tech materials.
- Any location of receiver and speed control on top of the battery plate is Allowed. Steering servo may be mounted on the front axle plate, or under the long battery tray.
- No changes in the steering blocks, axle, or springs. Shims are allowed on springs to stiffen front ends. May also add the front kingpin brace ( 5240) to help prevent front axle breakage in severe wrecks. You may put a washer behind the e-clip on the front axle to stop it from pulling thru the steering block.
- Original front steering rods can be bent as needed, if the steering servo is mounted on the front axle plate. Double lock collars are allowed on each side of the steering linkage to prevent slippage.
- RJS5250 ADJUSTABLE STEERING LINKAGE NOW LEGAL
- Factory front bumper must remain on the car.
- No ball bearings allowed anywhere on the car, except inside servos. No modifications to the oilite bushings in any way.
- No changes allowed to rear axle or differential. No ceramic or carbide diff balls or drive rings allowed. No 64 pitch gears– must use original type 81 tooth 48 pitch diff gear . No lightweight rear axles. No thrust bearings allowed, except one in the diff assembly. Steel pinions only.
- You may change the left side (setscrew) hub to 5313 nylon/aluminum Hybrid hub only, or use 1/4 “ spacer on the left side with the original 5311 hub, and 5309 narrow diff hub to narrow the rear track. Reducing the track width of the car can increase rear traction if needed.
- Only genuine R/C LEGENDS bodies are allowed as replacements NO changes allowed from trim lines, except for 1/4 “ tolerance around wheels. Body must be painted & all windows clear or cut out. It is legal to rein- force the inside of the body where the side posts go thru with tape or scrap lexan from the wheel cutouts.
- No rollover or stiff antennas allowed. Antenna may be mounted in- side the body for small tracks where radio range is not a problem.
- Only Legends kit tires or legends/spec tires on factory wheels are allowed.
- Tires must be mounted in the direction shown in the kit instructions ( No reversing front tires).
- THE DURATRAX DTXC3301 OR THE DYNAMITE DYN1171 20T MOTORS ARE PREFERRED.
- RJS5248 Legends motor heat sink is allowed. Keeps the motor run- ning cooler and last longer.
- Battery pack must remain in the stock location, down the center of the chassis between the frame rails. Some tracks are using cheap 1800 to 2000 MAH six cell packs
- Must use original equip. pinion gear (21 to 23 tooth 48 pitch STEEL)
- RJS5246 3 PC. FRONT AXLE PLATE ALLOWED TO FACILI- TATE QUICK FRONT END REPAIRS.
- RJS5250 ADJUSTABLE STEERING LINKAGE IS A LEGAL ADD ON FOR ALL LEGENDS RACING.
- REVERSE: not normally allowed, but could be a local option.
- Track size: R/C LEGENDS can be raced on any size R/C track, oval or road course. We recommend that if you’re setting one up, make the straight sections fairly short so , that driving the turns is more important than top speed.
